This is an incredibly rare car! 1969 was the final year of the original 912 series. Improvements included a longer wheelbase for improved handling , plus revised doorpanels etc. Most of this years production were Coupes and Glass Window Targas. Just a few Soft Window targas were produced at the beginning of the year. How many remain now? , very few. This original Black Plate California Car has been stored for approcx 10 years. It requires a cosmetic restoration, but is a very solid car, excellent panel fit, straight body, and solid original floorpan and supension pan. The car has been repainted once in it's original Light Ivory, # 6804. The rear window obviously needs to be replaced but the mechanism is all there, these rear window panels are readily available at a cost of approx $550.
