Still in it's original Colours of Licht Grey over Red. When I first saw this car it took me backto my childhood. All of a sudden it was 1956, and I am a 7 year old car nut living in Nottingham seeing my first picture of this completely restyled Vanguard. It looked So American! A major leap forward from the older Pase 2 Vanguard it replaced. Who would have thought I'd be offering one of only 962 examples built 51 years later. This car is one of the original "Sport Sedans" . It was fitted with the Twin Carburretor Triumph TR3 Engine, Stiffer Suspension etc, Gearbox was a 3 Speed With Overdrive. This particular example has been aquired from a major Standard/Triumph Collector here in California, and is probaly the only Left Hand Drive USA model existing today. This was the actual New York Auto show car. It came out to the West Coast almost immediatly, which is why it survives today. The car is fully documented in several packets. Also included are the original Owners Manual, Workshop Manual, Service Voucher Book , Fitted and Loose rolled Tools etc etc. It still wears ity's original Black and Yellow License Plates. Although not a 100 point show car, this one is in incredible condition, ready to use and enjoy, they don't get much more unique than this, I really hope we can find the Right Home for this one.
