One of the most iconic and sought after British cars ever, the E-Type was manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961-1975.  Its combination of beauty, high performance and competitive pricing established the model as an icon of the motoring world.  At a time when most cars had drum brakes, five rear axles and mediocre performance, the E=Type sprang on the scene with 150 mph and a sub-7 second 0-60 time.  Monocoque Construction, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, independent front and rear suspension and unrivalled looks.  The E-type was based on Jaguar's D-Type racing car which had won the 24 hour Le Mans three consecutive years and, as such, it employed the racing design of a body tub attached to a tubular framework with the engine bolted directo the framework.

Powered by the 4.2 Litre XK 6 cylinder engine paired to a 4 speed manual transmission. This car has never been restored but was repainted several years ago. The paint still shows well, although it is not the original White. The body is nice and straight, and shows no significant rust issues. Interior is in very nice condition , including the dash, and the cloth top is excellent. Still has its original and correct wood rim steering wheel.
